Anadolukavagi

Anadolukavagi is located in Asian side of Istanbul,in Beykoz.It is popular with its fig and drinking water.There is Evriye Hatun fountain on the port ,which was built in 1785-86.The epigraph of this fountain is being presented in Topkapi Palace.Also there is Fatma Hatun fountain,which has a horizontal regtangular prism marble reservoir.Today it is used as a table by the fish restaurant it is located in.Fish restaurants on the seaside of Anadolukavagi are very famous.Especially on the weekends it is the attraction point of local and foreign tourists.The most attractive historical place of Anadolukavagi is the Yoros Castle.It is located on the top of Anadolukavagi and across the Rumelikavagi.It is also known as Anadolukavagi castle or Ceneviz castle,exact builting time and architect is not known.It was built to defend Bosphorus and from invasions both from sea and from land.But today it is an attraction point with its incredible scenery of Bosphorus and Istanbul.
